The establishment of a Non-Formal School in Begum Kot, Lahore is a great initiative toward humanitarian welfare and social service. Under the Shauoor Community Development Center that is the part of a country wide initiative of opening a chain of Welfare Institutions, a non-formal school is being established in Begum Kot—an underprivileged area where poverty and lack of awareness prevent many children from attending school, and where those who do attend receive education of a very poor standard.
