As a helpless mother, Sabiha was struggling alone to care for her daughter under extremely difficult circumstances. At times they had to live on the streets, and when Sana went missing, her mother walked miles searching for her. During this difficult period, Shauoor Welfare Foundation became their support system. They were given shelter at Shauoor Maan Ghar, where they received food, clothing, essential necessities, and dignity like a family, while Sana’s proper medical treatment was also initiated.
Due to Sana’s condition, Sabiha herself experienced emotional stress and mental strain. With the support of the foundation and generous donors, they were provided a rented home so Syeda Sabiha could care for and raise her daughter in a stable environment. The organization arranged professional treatment and counseling for Syeda Sana, which gradually helped her in sustainable healing. Today, Sana is calm, more hopeful, and moving forward in life with renewed confidence. Her recovery stands as a powerful example of how timely support can transform lives.
Sabiha shares that when relatives and others stepped away, Shauoor became a source of hope. At Shauoor Maan Ghar, both mother and daughter lived like family members, where they were cared for, Sana received treatment, and later they were shifted to a rented home whose expenses are still being supported by the organization. Living there, Sabiha continues her daughter’s treatment while remaining her strength and encouragement.
In the end, Syeda Sabiha expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Shauoor team, especially Dr. Shahida Noumani, and prayed for their continued success. She said, “When people abandon you, Allah sends His righteous servants to help — and the Shauoor team is among them. She prayed that Allah would reward them, bless their efforts, and grant them the ability to continue supporting those in need.” Ameen.
While giving your Zakat, remember Shauoor Welfare Foundation, as it provides a structured support system that leads individuals not toward dependency, but toward rehabilitation and self-reliance.
