Begum Kot – Shahdara, is an area where every household has one or two individuals struggling with addiction, and the atmosphere feels overwhelmingly desolate. Shauoor Welfare Foundation, in collaboration with Aas Trust and the British Asian Trust, organized an awareness campaign. This initiative aimed to educate the public about drug abuse and the harmful effects of drug addiction, shed light on available treatments and discuss preventive measures.
