On the other hand, her husband suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure, and due to complications from diabetes, both of his feet have been badly affected, leaving him unable to work. The family has two sons. One recently underwent hernia surgery and is still weak, while the other son is working as a dry cleaner to help support the household expenses. Poverty and illness have pushed this family to such an extent that the children had to leave school because managing the household became too difficult. شازیہ کا گھرانہ غربت و بیماری کا شکار

شازیہ باجی ایک ماں بھی ہے اور ایک بیوی بھی—مگر اس وقت وہ خود بیماری سے لڑ رہی ہیں۔ ریڑھ کی ہڈی (مہروں) کے سنگین مسئلے نے ان کی صحت کو بری طرح متاثر کر دیا ہے، لیکن اس کے باوجود وہ اپنے بچوں کے لیے ہر تکلیف برداشت کر رہی ہیں۔ دوسری جانب ان کے شوہر شوگر اور بلڈ پریشر جیسے امراض میں مبتلا ہیں، اور شوگر کی پیچیدگیوں کے باعث ان کے دونوں پاؤں شدید متاثر ہو چکے ہیں، جس کی وجہ سے وہ کام کرنے کے قابل نہیں رہے۔ اس گھرانے کے دو بیٹے ہیں۔ ایک بیٹے کا حال ہی میں ہرنیا کا آپریشن ہوا ہے جس کے باعث وہ کمزور ہے، بیٹا ڈرائی کلین کا کام کر کے گھر کا خرچ اٹھانے کی کوشش کر رہا ہے۔
