Understanding the pain of lonely women is essential. Some women are either widows or have husbands lost in addiction who neglect the needs of their wives and children. Even when husbands are present, many subject their wives to such severe abuse and oppression that these women lose the will to live.
Razia Baji, a dedicated member of Shauoor Welfare Foundation, bore the responsibility of raising her orphaned granddaughters alone. These little girls had neither a mother nor a father, and there was no male support in their home.
