These experiences strengthened her compassion and deepened her commitment to humanitarian service.
Sharing a recent experience, she recalls an incident during Eid at Shauoor Maan Ghar, where a young girl became visibly upset after seeing other girls leaving to celebrate Eid with their relatives. The moment highlighted her sense of loneliness and longing. Recognizing this, the volunteers immediately stepped in and engaged the girls in games and activities, helping them forget their sadness and rediscover moments of joy.
Gul-e-Zahra emphasizes that donations alone are not enough—giving time is equally important. The mothers and daughters at Maan Ghar often miss the presence of loved ones, and those who come and spend time with them become like family.
According to her, true service is not just about financial support, but about offering love, attention, and time—because these are the things that bring real comfort and happiness to their hearts.

شعور رضاکار – گلِ زہرہ کا اظہارِ خیال شعور کے ساتھ خدمتِ خلق کا سفر اور ذاتی تجربات ۔
گلِ زہرہ، شعور کی ایک پرجوش رضاکار ہیں جو بچپن سے ہی اس ادارے سے وابستہ ہیں۔ انہوں نے کم عمری میں ہی محروم اور نادار افراد کی زندگیوں میں موجود دکھ، تنہائی اور مشکلات کو قریب سے دیکھا، جس نے ان کے دل میں خدمتِ انسانیت کا جذبہ مزید مضبوط کیا۔
وہ اپنے حالیہ تجربے کا ذکر کرتے ہوئے بتاتی ہیں کہ عید کے موقع پر شعور ماں گھر میں ایک بچی بہت اداس ہو گئی تھی، جب اس نے دوسری لڑکیوں کو اپنے رشتہ داروں کے ساتھ عید منانے کے لیے جاتے دیکھا۔ اس لمحے نے اس کے دل کی تنہائی کو مزید بڑھا دیا۔ لیکن شعور کے رضاکاروں نے فوری طور پر آگے بڑھ کر بچیوں کو مختلف کھیلوں اور سرگرمیوں میں مصروف کیا، تاکہ وہ اپنی اداسی بھلا سکیں اور خوشی کے لمحات محسوس کر سکیں۔
گلِ زہرہ اس بات پر زور دیتی ہیں کہ صرف عطیات دینا ہی کافی نہیں، بلکہ وقت دینا بھی بے حد ضروری ہے۔ ماں گھر کی یہ مائیں اور بیٹیاں اکثر اپنوں کی کمی محسوس کرتی ہیں، اور جو لوگ ان کے پاس آ کر وقت گزارتے ہیں، وہی ان کے لیے خاندان بن جاتے ہیں۔
ان کے مطابق، اصل خدمت صرف مالی مدد نہیں بلکہ محبت، توجہ اور وقت دینا ہے—کیونکہ یہی چیزیں ان کے دلوں کو حقیقی سکون اور خوشی فراہم کرتی ہیں۔
