Prayer is the ascension of a believer, for when a person goes into prostration, it becomes a moment of meeting with Allah — the One who is closer to us than our jugular vein. Knowledge is a wealth that never becomes old, cannot be stolen, and never ends. Money, clothes, lands, and fields all change with time, but knowledge and good words remain with a person forever. You may give someone millions, and it will be spent, but a good word, a piece of advice, or an act of kindness remains eternal — and its reward continues. If you cannot give anything else, even a single date is charity, and if not that, then speaking a kind word is also a form of goodness. Elevate your character, broaden your heart, and do so much good that love grows for you in every heart. Hazrat Wasif Ali Wasif ( رحمۃ اللہ علیہ) used to say: Ask questions — for the one who does not ask, does not learn; and only the one who asks, gains knowledge.
Renowned Pakistani actor Firdous Jamal of the famous PTV drama written by Ashfaq Ahmed – Mann Chalay ka Sauda – said that today he feels blessed to be in a place where he found a spiritual peace that is rarely found elsewhere. The shrines of saints, Madinah Munawwarah, and the Kaaba are places where true tranquility is found — yet today, coming to Maan Ghar, he felt as if he were in a pure and blessed place where Allah’s mercy is descending. In front of him was the image of the blessed Rawdah of the Prophet ﷺ — this is the gathering of Sirat-e-Mustaqeem — and the name of this institution is Shauoor Maan Ghar, A Haven of Guidance and Goodness. Here, little girls are receiving education, character-building, and sustenance. Here, orphaned girls, helpless mothers, and vulnerable women are moving toward a safe and dignified life.
Firdous Jamal praised the services of Shauoor Welfare Foundation’s Maan Ghar, calling it a true symbol of serving humanity. He appealed to the public to become part of this sacred mission and, through their donations and support, become a ray of hope for these orphaned girls and helpless mothers. Let us all step forward together with Shauoor Welfare Foundation so that the delicate flowers growing in Maan Ghar may walk toward a brighter future under the shade of knowledge, training, and love. This is service, this is worship, and this is the path that brings us closer to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
