Saba Baji’s husband used to work as a butcher, purchasing animals, slaughtering them, and selling the meat to support his family. However, a tragic incident turned their lives upside down. While travelling, he was robbed by armed robbers who took approximately PKR 1.4 million and all his other belongings. They brutally assaulted him and left him behind, believing him to be dead. By the grace of Allah, he survived, but his health deteriorated significantly, and the family suffered a devastating financial loss. Today, Saba Baji is overwhelmed by her children’s hunger, illnesses, and helplessness. There is not even enough food in the house, and sometimes the family goes without food for two consecutive days. Poverty has made life so difficult that they lack basic necessities, including proper bedding, clothing, blankets, and quilts. On one hand, her husband is struggling with poor health, while on the other, her only son needs treatment for tuberculosis. Managing these medical challenges has become extremely difficult. Due to severe financial constraints, Saba Baji is unable to arrange regular medical treatment for her husband and son or meet her family’s basic needs. Saba Baji’s family urgently needs your support and assistance. They require food supplies for their children, medical treatment for their TB affected son, healthcare assistance for her husband, and warm bedding, blankets, and other essentials to protect them from the cold.
