Professional Social Work Training
In this age of science, technology, and competitiveness, our society is in desperate need of young people who can revive it by real-time practice of genuine social, moral, and human values emphasized by Islamic principles to maintain a healthy balance between humanity and modernity. Youth mobilization and training as social workers are important components of Shauoor’s mission. Capable and kind-hearted youngsters should be trained for practical adaptation of social work in daily life.
Below are the core objectives of social work training:
- Manage pre-service and in-service training courses including collaborative
activities/training for the volunteers and officials of the foundation. - Approaching and engaging trainers from special fields for the training sessions.
- Basic and regular courses for functionaries of the department working in Urban/Rural/ Community Development Projects as well as those associated with NGOs.
- Conduct short-term workshops and seminars to upgrade the knowledge of seniors, mid-level and junior professional officials, and volunteers of the organization.
- Organize regular orientation courses for managers, administrators, policymakers, planners, supervisors, and representatives of NGOs to improve their workplace
performance.
