In the heart of Lahore city, near Data Darbar, many people are left to die silently on the streets — invisible to the world. One such man was found lying helplessly on the roadside, drenched in rain, unnoticed by passersby.

His body was fragile, his lips dry, and his eyes open wide in silent desperation. It had been days since a drop of water had touched his lips. People passed by, but no one stopped. No one helped.
When Shauoor Welfare Foundation’s volunteers noticed this abandoned man, they rushed to rescue him through heavy rain and against all odds. They rescued him from the street, gave him food, and tried to stabilize him. But what followed was even more heartbreaking: multiple hospitals refused to admit him. Medical staff and even police officers questioned, “Why save someone like him? Leave him where he was found.”
Even being rejected for admission by many hospitals, the Shauoor Welfare Foundation didn’t give up. After relentless efforts and reference support, they managed to get him admitted to a private hospital. Today, there is hope—and a chance at life. His recovery has begun, and in shaa Allah, his health will improve day by day.
This is not just one case. Hundreds of homeless and nameless individuals across Pakistan are living like this—unnoticed, unclaimed, and slowly dying on the streets. With your support, we can rescue more lives like his.

ایک اور زندگی بچا لی گئی
لاہور شہر میں داتا دربار کے قریب روزانہ درجنوں لاوارث اور بے سہارا افراد سڑکوں پر بے یار و مددگار پڑے نظر آتے ہیں — جیسے کوئی انہیں دیکھنے والا ہی نہیں۔ ایسا ہی ایک شخص بارش میں بھیگا ہوا سڑک پر پڑا تھا، نہایت کمزور، پیاسا، اور خاموش فریاد کرتا ہوا۔ کئی دن سے پانی کی ایک بوند تک نہ ملی تھی، لیکن لوگ گزر جاتے، جیسے وہ انسان ہی نہ ہو۔
جب شعور ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن کے رضاکاروں اس شخص کے پاس سے گزرے، وہ تیز بارش کے باوجود فوراً اس کی مدد کو پہنچے۔ اُسے اٹھایا، کھانا دیا، اور ابتدائی طبی امداد فراہم کی۔ لیکن اصل مشکل اس کے بعد شروع ہوئی — جب ایک کے بعد ایک پرائیوٹ ہسپتال نے اُسے داخل کرنے سے انکار کر دیا۔ ڈاکٹروں اور پولیس افسران نے کہا: “ایسے شخص کو بچا کر کیا کرو گے؟ جہاں سے لائے ہو، وہیں چھوڑ دو!”
لیکن شعور نے ہمت نہیں ہاری۔ مسلسل جدوجہد اور ریفرنس کے ذریعے آخرکار ایک پرائیویٹ ہسپتال میں اُسے داخل کروا دیا گیا۔ اب اُمید ہے کہ ان شاء اللہ وہ بہتر ہوتا جائے گا، اور نئی زندگی کی طرف لوٹے گا۔
یہ صرف ایک انسان کی کہانی نہیں — ایسے درجنوں لاوارث افراد سڑکوں پر زندگی اور موت کی کشمکش میں پڑے ہوتے ہیں۔ آپ کے تعاون سے ہم مزید زندگیاں بچا سکتے ہیں۔
