Waqas is a child labor who works at a burger shop. He is the only support for his widowed mother and five sisters. Managing household expenses along with his educational costs has become a great challenge for him. Waqas’s life is a story of constant struggle, where his journey of education continues under the shadow of poverty.

Muneeba lives in a small village in Kasur, where her home and school were destroyed in the recent floods.

Every day as he faces the reality of poverty vs educational expenses. Yaseen Bhai spends the day walking on the streets with his gol gappay (snack) cart, trying to keep his household running and dreaming of giving his children a better future through education.

Orphanhood is a very difficult reality to face. After her husband’s death, Fauzia Baji’s life has been surrounded by hardship. Her resources have run out, and she is unable to meet her children’s expenses.

Shakeela Bibi is currently in iddat (the period of mourning after her husband’s death), and her young son goes to the city to work as a laborer to make ends meet. But poverty has pushed their lives to the brink of starvation.
