Polio Patient – Shakeel Anjum
Shakeel Anjum has a life filled with trials since childhood. Polio weakened one of his legs, and unfortunately, that same leg has broken twice, leaving him even more helpless. Today, he lies confined to bed, unable to walk or earn a living. Though he has unwavering faith in Allah’s promise of sustenance, his disability keeps him in constant pain and distress. He often recalls the days when his livelihood was steady, the household kitchen was running with dignity, and life was easier.

But now, even arranging a single meal has become a struggle. The heavy rains further destroyed his already dilapidated home, and the roof collapsed, making it nearly uninhabitable. Through its Kafalat Program, Shauoor Welfare Foundation is becoming a support for such helpless and destitute individuals, ensuring that their stoves do not go cold. Let us, for the sake of humanity, come forward and join hands with Shauoor team to provide them with life’s basic necessities.

شکیل انجم کی زندگی بچپن ہی سے آزمائشوں میں گزری ہے۔ پولیو نے ان کی ایک ٹانگ کمزور کر دی، اور بدقسمتی سے یہی ٹانگ دو بار ٹوٹنے کی وجہ سے وہ مزید بے بس ہو گئے ہیں۔ آج وہ بستر پر پڑے ہیں، نہ چلنے کے قابل ہیں اور نہ ہی کمانے کے۔ اگرچہ انہیں اللہ تعالیٰ کی ذات پر کامل یقین ہے کہ رزق کا وعدہ اللہ نے کیا ہے، لیکن اپنی معذوری کی وجہ سے وہ شدید دکھ اور پریشانی میں رہتے ہیں۔ وہ وقت یاد کرتے ہیں جب روزگار اچھا تھا اور گھر کا چولہا باعزت طریقے سے جلتا تھا، مگر اب ایک وقت کا کھانا بھی مشکل ہو گیا ہے۔ بارشوں نے ان کے خستہ حال گھر کو مزید تباہ کر دیا اور چھت گرنے سے رہائش بھی مشکل ہوگئی ہے۔ شعور ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن اپنے کفالت پروگرام کے ذریعے ایسے مجبور اور بے سہارا افراد کا سہارا بن رہی ہے تاکہ ان کے گھروں کا چولہا ٹھنڈا نہ پڑے۔ آئیے! انسانیت کے ناطے آگے بڑھیں اور ان کے لیے بنیادی ضروریات فراہم کرنے میں شعور کی ٹیم کا ساتھ دیں۔
