شاہینہ ایک بیوہ خاتون ہیں جو زندگی کی مشکلات سے نبرد آزما ہیں۔ شوہر کے انتقال کے بعد ان کے والدین بھی ان کا سہارا نہیں بن سکے، بلکہ خود محتاج ہیں۔ ان کے والد فالج کے حملے کے باعث چارپائی کے ہو کر رہ گئے ہیں اور والدہ ذہنی بیماری اور معذوری کا شکار ہیں۔ شاہینہ گھروں میں کام کر کے بمشکل گزارہ کرتی ہیں لیکن اپنی بیٹی کی تعلیم اور والدین کی دوائیوں کا خرچ پورا کرنے سے قاصر ہیں
