Currently, Shauoor Maan Ghar is operating from a rented building where 31 underprivileged and widowed mothers, children, and young girls reside. Their shelter, education, and upbringing are being supported by Shauoor Welfare Foundation with the generous cooperation of donors. At present, Maan Ghar is facing a critical challenge, as the building owner has asked for the premises to be vacated, creating an urgent need for a new building in Lahore. Anyone willing to donate a space for Maan Ghar or provide a house at a subsidized rent is requested to contact us, as providing a roof over these children’s heads is a great act of kindness. Maan Ghar is a strong support system and a safe haven for these innocent children, with whom they share a deep emotional bond. When the children were informed about moving to a new Maan Ghar, their innocent dreams came to light—they imagined a home like a palace, with a library full of books, rooms filled with toys, swings to play on, and a place full of joy. These children expressed their desire to study hard, becoming like Dr. Shahida Noumani, to stand beside her in serving humanity. For these young girls, Maan Ghar is a protective embrace where education and character-building lay the foundation for a brighter future, enabling them to grow into positive and active contributors to society. The truth is, this is not an easy mission—come forward, support the Shauoor Welfare Foundation, and help us find a new home for Maan Ghar Members. Renowned Pakistani actor Firdous Jamal, during his visit to Shauoor Maan Ghar, praised the institution’s services and described it as a true reflection of humanitarian service. With the same spirit, famous Pakistani singer Fariha Parvez and Kanwal Cheema – CEO of My Impact Meter also visited Shauoor Maan Ghar, spent quality time with the mothers and children, and appreciated the practical model of education and upbringing being implemented there.
