Zainab’s sobs pierced my heart. With eyes full of tears, the mothers and orphaned girls left alone at Shauoor Maan Ghar watched other mothers and daughters leaving to celebrate Eid-ul-Adha 2024 with their relatives.

زینب کی سسکیاں میرے دل کو زخمی کر گئیں۔
ماں گھر میں اکیلی رہ جانے والی بچیاں اور مائیں جاتے ہوئے بچوں کو دیکھ کر آبدیدہ تھیں۔
ہمیں چھاؤں بن کر ان کے سر پر رہنا ہے۔
کہ ان کے دکھوں کا مداوا ہو سکے۔
