What do we know of the helplessness of poverty? Have we ever tried a dry piece of bread dipped in water to make it edible? Or told hungry children to drink water and sleep? Or pulled a brilliant child out of school because we couldn’t afford the fees? So much pain exists, and there’s so much to be done.
