Karachi — Pakistan’s largest and the world’s 12th biggest city — holds within it many neglected and underprivileged neighborhoods, where even the necessities are a luxury.

As soon as the Qurbani goats arrived at Shauoor Maan Ghar, a wave of pure joy swept through the children and mothers. The girls ran to take selfies with the goats, showering them with affection and laughter.

At Shauoor Maan Ghar, we shelter young girls and women
who have suffered through abuse, abandonment, and neglect. Now, they’re rebuilding their lives — what they need most is compassion, trust, and family-like warmth.

The daughters at Shauoor Maan Ghar need more than just proper nutrition and education – they deserve mental peace, happiness, and moments of joy.
