One day, a volunteer from Shauoor Welfare Foundation met a woman whose face carried a gentle smile, but if someone looked closely, the deep pain in her eyes was impossible to miss.
That woman was Ghazala Shehzadi. Her life had been filled with hardships and trials. She lost her parents in childhood, and after marriage, Allah blessed her with a son who became a ray of hope in her life. However, fate had more difficulties in store for her.
One day, her husband took her to Data Darbar, asked her to sit outside, handed her a piece of paper, and left, saying he would return soon. Hours passed and the sun began to set, but he never came back. When she asked someone to read the paper for her, she was shocked to discover that it was a divorce document. After that painful moment, she was left alone and helpless, wandering the streets with her young son.
During this difficult time, a smuggler took advantage of her helplessness. He offered her a place to stay and gave them a small, damaged room in Paan Gali. However, the room was hardly livable, and he tried to force her son into drug smuggling. When the child refused, he was subjected to severe violence.
When Shauoor Welfare Foundation learned about their condition, they took them under their care. Eventually, Ghazala Shehzadi was brought to “ Shauoor Maan Ghar”, a safe home established for vulnerable and homeless mothers and girls. Today, she is living a peaceful and secure life there. Maan Ghar has given her not only a roof over her head but also love, dignity, and hope for the future.
Ghazala Shehzadi is an innocent and lovely lady who endured countless hardships in her life. After years of struggle, she has finally found peace and safety. Maan Ghar stands as a symbol of hope and protection for many helpless mothers and girls. The journey of Shauoor Welfare Foundation continues, as there are still many mothers who need support, care, and a chance to return to a life of dignity.
