The visionary dream of Dr. Shahida Noumani, that young girls should receive not only education but also dignified vocational skills, has now become a beautiful reality.  The Dina Shauoor Girls Vocational Center stands as a practical manifestation of this dream, where nearly 175 girls are currently learning skills and becoming capable of earning a respectable livelihood. A majority of them are orphaned girls and helpless women who are being empowered through skills so they may stand on their own feet, become self-reliant, and define their own future. By the grace of Allah, after this remarkable success, the second branch—A path to progress Shauoor Community Development Center, Begum Kot—is now being established. Begum Kot is an extremely underdeveloped area, with unpaved streets, a lack of educational facilities, no schools, no skill-training opportunities, and young girls confined within their homes. In today’s world, skills are essential for progress, and such rural regions have fallen behind in this journey of development.
