She exposed the painful truths hidden in plain sight — the disfigured faces shunned by society, the children forced to pick garbage because they had no father to protect them, the helpless souls taking their last breaths on the streets.
She reminded us that Shauoor is not about reading books and claiming wisdom — it’s about feeling others’ pain and acting to ease it.
“Silence in the face of injustice is complicity. We must rise, speak up, and act.”

بے زبان کے لیے آواز
جشنِ اردو کے موقع پر الحمرا ہال، لاہور آرٹس کونسل میں شعور ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن کے زیرِ اہتمام ایک آگاہی سیشن کا انعقاد کیا گیا، جہاں ڈاکٹر شاہدہ نعمانی نے اپنے گہرے خیالات اور حقیقی تجربات حاضرین کے گوش گزار کئے ۔
انہوں نے وہ تلخ حقیقتیں بے نقاب کیں جو سب کی نظروں کے سامنے ہوتے ہوئے بھی چھپی رہتی ہیں — وہ چہرے جو بگڑ جانے کے بعد معاشرے کی نفرت کا نشانہ بن جاتے ہیں، وہ بچے جو صرف اس لیے کچرا چنتے ہیں کیونکہ ان کا کوئی باپ نہیں ہوتا جو ان کی حفاظت کرے، اور وہ بے بس انسان جو سڑکوں پر اپنی آخری سانسیں لے رہے ہوتے ہیں۔
ڈاکٹر صاحبہ نے کہا کہ شعور وہ نہیں جو صرف کتابیں پڑھ کر حاصل ہو، بلکہ شعور وہ ہے جو دوسروں کا درد محسوس کرے اور حل کے لیے اٹھ کھڑا ہو۔
“خاموشی بھی ظلم ہے — آئیں، اس بےحسی کے خلاف آواز بنیں۔”
ظلم کے خلاف خاموش نہ رہیں۔ آواز بنیں۔ اپنا کردار ادا کریں
