The Karachi tragedy – Gul Plaza fire has left hearts shaken. State, Institutions or Public – who is responsible?
The fire at Karachi’s Gul Plaza claimed countless precious human lives. May Allah Almighty protect us from sudden calamities and tragic accidents. The Gul Plaza incident in Karachi is a heart-wrenching tragedy and a clear reflection of negligence on the part of the state, society, and responsible institutions. Similar incidents have occurred in the past, and each time the public response has been emotional and well-intentioned. Yet the real questions remain the same: Why do we, as a society, wait for tragedies to unite? Why does awareness and responsibility awaken only after a disaster? And most importantly, how many innocent lives must be sacrificed before negligence is replaced by responsibility? This incident forces us to seriously reflect on public safety, weak laws, institutional failure, and our collective social responsibility. Real change will come only when we act before the next tragedy, not after it. 📌 This tragedy is a clear warning for all of us. 📌 Raise your voice for the protection of human lives, effective laws, and accountability.
