Her children, terrified by their father’s brutality, cry and scream, but he remains unaffected by their anguish.

سمیرا رمضان، ایک بے بس اور مظلوم ماں جو اپنے بچوں کے ساتھ ایک جہنم جیسی زندگی گزار رہی ہے۔ اس کا شوہر شراب نوشی اور جوا کھیلنے کا عادی ہے، اور روزانہ کے تشدد نے اس کی زندگی اجیرن کر دی ہے۔ اس کے شوہر کی درندگی یہاں تک بڑھ چکی ہے کہ کئی بار جھگڑوں کے دوران اس کا گلا دبانے کی کوشش کر چکا ہے۔ بچے اس ظلم کے باعث خوفزدہ ہو جاتے ہیں اور چیخنے لگتے ہیں، لیکن باپ پر کوئی اثر نہیں ہوتا۔
