Amna Bibi is a single mother with one leg. Her husband abandoned her after cruelty. She now supports her young son alone. She earns a little by teaching the Holy Quran to neighborhood children. آمنہ بی بی ایک ٹانگ سے معذور ماں ہیں۔ شوہر نے ظلم کر کے چھوڑ دیا۔ اب وہ اپنے چھوٹے بیٹے کی کفالت خود کرتی ہیں۔ محلے کے بچوں کو قرآن پڑھا کر تھوڑی آمدنی کماتی ہیں۔ یہی آمدنی بمشکل گھر کا چولہا جلاتی ہے۔ اکثر دنوں میں گھر میں کھانے کو کچھ نہیں ہوتا، جب تک کوئی دے نہ دے۔
وہ کسی کے آگے ہاتھ نہیں پھیلاتیں، مگر زندگی ایک مسلسل جدوجہد ہے۔ آمنہ کی کہانی اکیلی نہیں۔ ہمارے معاشرے میں بے شمار خواتین خاموشی سے حالات کا مقابلہ کرتی ہیں۔ ہمیں اپنی روایات بدلنی ہوں گی۔ خاندانوں کو اپنی خواتین کا تحفظ کرنا ہوگا۔ اور نشے جیسی لعنت کو ختم کرنا ہوگا جو گھروں کو اجاڑ دیتی ہے۔
آئیے، ہم اس باہمت ماں کا سہارا بنیں۔ آپ کا ایک قدم ان کے بیٹے کا محفوظ اور روشن مستقبل بنا سکتا ہے۔
