Shaukat Iqbal says that when times were better, many people stood by him, but now that he is going through a difficult period, he has no one to provide him with lasting support. He does not want to depend on others or ask for charity. Instead, he wants to stand on his own feet and provide for his children with dignity and self-respect. His wish is to be supported in starting a sustainable livelihood or small business that can provide him with a regular source of income, enabling him to meet his children’s needs and live independently without being dependent on others. شوکت اقبال – حادثہ اور بے روزگاری

شوکت اقبال — حادثے میں ہاتھ سے محروم ہونے کے باعث بے روزگاری اور مالی مشکلات کا شکار ہے روزگار کی بحالی کے منتظر ہیں۔ شوکت اقبال جوتے بنانے والی ایک فیکٹری میں محنت مزدوری کرکے اپنے پانچ بچوں اور اہلِ خانہ کی کفالت کرتے تھے۔ دورانِ کام ایک افسوسناک حادثے میں ان کا ہاتھ مشین کی زد میں آ گیا اور وہ ہاتھ سے محروم ہو گئے۔ حادثے کے بعد بھی انہوں نے ہمت نہیں ہاری اور کچھ عرصہ کام کرتے رہے، مگر بعد ازاں ملازمت بھی ختم ہوگئی۔ آج شوکت اقبال جو پانچ بچوں کے باپ ہیں اور کرائے کے گھر میں زندگی گزار رہے ہیں۔ مالی حالات اس قدر خراب ہیں کہ تین ماہ سے بجلی کا بل بھی ادا نہیں ہو سکا۔ گھر میں فاقہ کشی کی نوبت ہے۔ ان کی اہلیہ سلائی کا کام کرکے گھر کے اخراجات پورے کرنے کی کوشش کرتی ہیں، لیکن محدود آمدن میں پانچ بچوں کی ضروریات پوری کرنا انتہائی مشکل ہے۔ شوکت اقبال کہتے ہیں کہ جب حالات اچھے تھے تو بہت سے لوگ ساتھ دیتے تھے، لیکن آج جب وہ مشکل وقت سے گزر رہے ہیں تو مستقل سہارا دینے والا کوئی نہیں۔ وہ کسی کے آگے ہاتھ پھیلانا نہیں چاہتے، بلکہ اپنے پاؤں پر کھڑا ہو کر اپنے بچوں کی کفالت عزت اور خودداری کے ساتھ کرنا چاہتے ہیں۔
