When a child chooses the streets over home, it’s a wake-up call for us all.

At Shauoor Welfare Foundation, we recently dealt with a deeply sensitive case that reflects the pain hiding inside many homes.

Sidra, a teenage girl, ran away from home due to continuous emotional and physical abuse by her father. She said that she felt more secure away from her own family.   Thankfully, our team reached her in time. After safe sheltering and thorough counseling sessions with both Sidra and her family . She was reunited and sent back home with proper safeguards and emotional support in place.   This incident underlines a painful truth: Parenting today demands more than just control — it requires empathy, understanding, and communication.   That’s why Shauoor’s Parenting Program exists — To educate and support families, rebuild broken trust, and restore peace at home.   If you know any child suffering in silence, please speak up. بچوں پر تشدد کا نازک کیس

  جب بچہ اپنا ہی گھر چھوڑ دے، تو یہ صرف اس کی کہانی نہیں — بلکہ ہم سب کے لیے ایک لمحہ فکریہ ہے۔ شعور ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن کے پاس حال ہی میں ایک نہایت حساس کیس آیا، جو معاشرتی المیوں کی حقیقی تصویر پیش کرتا ہے۔   سدرہ، ایک نوجوان لڑکی، اپنے باپ کے ظالمانہ رویے اور مار پیٹ سے تنگ آ کر گھر سے بھاگ آئی۔ اس نے صاف لفظوں میں کہا: “گھر محفوظ نہیں لگتا۔”   الحمدللہ! شعور کی ٹیم وقت پر پہنچی۔ کئی سیشنز پر مشتمل مؤثر رہنمائی کے بعد، سدرہ اور اس کے گھر والوں کے درمیان سمجھوتہ کروایا گیا — اور اب وہ بحفاظت اپنے گھر واپس بھیج دی گئی ہے، اعتماد اور نگہداشت کے ساتھ۔   یہ واقعہ ہمیں سکھاتا ہے کہ: آج کی تربیت صرف احکامات نہیں بلکہ محبت، برداشت، اور سمجھ بوجھ کی بھی متقاضی ہے۔   اسی ضرورت کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے ” تربیت والدین ” پروگرام کا آغاز کیا گیا ہے — تاکہ والدین سیکھ سکیں کہ کیسے بچوں سے جڑا جائے، انہیں سنا جائے، اور انہیں محفوظ ماحول فراہم کیا جائے۔   اگر آپ کے اردگرد کوئی بچہ خاموش ہو اور تکلیف میں مبتلا ہو — خاموش نہ رہیں، پہل کریں۔ شاید آپ کا قدم کسی بچے کو زندگی کی جانب واپس لا سکتا ہو۔
