Self-reliant Amma Haleema’s Own Small Business
Amma Haleema is a sf-reliant, frail and self-made mother who needs to restore livelihood by the help of Shauoor’s Small Business Program. Her own sons do not even check on her today. She lives in a small rented room with her three grown daughters and a sick husband, facing the hardships of life. Meeting her husband’s medical expenses and her daughters’ educational costs had become extremely difficult for her.

Financial hardship affected the family so severely that one of her daughters, who dreamed of becoming a doctor, fell under such mental stress that she now requires psychological treatment.
To earn an honest livelihood, Haleema Bibi used to buy spices from the market, grind them herself, pack them, and sell them in shops—this was her only source of income. However, an accident took away even this means of support. Despite all this, this determined mother did not give up and intended to restart her work to support her family.
To make Haleema Bibi self-reliant, the team at Shauoor Welfare Foundation provided her, with the help of generous donors, a spice grinding machine, various spices, and all the essential supplies needed for her business. The team went with Haleema Bibi to the market and purchased everything necessary so that her small business could be restored and expanded.

خوددار ماں جی حلیمہ کا اپنا روزگار
حلیمہ بی بی ایک ضعیف اور خوددار ماں ہیں جن کے اپنے بیٹے بھی آج ان کی خبرگیری نہیں کرتے۔ وہ کرائے کے ایک چھوٹے سے کمرے میں اپنی تین جوان بیٹیوں اور بیمار شوہر کے ساتھ زندگی کی سختیوں کا سامنا کر رہی ہیں۔ شوہر کے علاج اور بیٹیوں کی تعلیم کے اخراجات پورے کرنا ان کے لیے انتہائی دشوار ہو چکا تھا۔ مالی تنگی نے گھر کے حالات کو اس قدر متاثر کیا کہ ایک بیٹی، جو ڈاکٹر بننے کا خواب رکھتی تھی، ذہنی دباؤ کا شکار ہو کر نفسیاتی علاج کی محتاج ہو گئی
باوقار روزی کے حصول کے لیے حلیمہ بی بی بازار سے مصالحہ لا کر خود پیستیں، پیک کرتیں اور دکانوں تک پہنچاتیں—یہی ان کا واحد ذریعہ معاش تھا۔ مگر ایک حادثے نے یہ سہارا بھی چھین لیا۔ اس کے باوجود یہ ہمت والی ماں ہار نہ مانیں اور دوبارہ اپنا کام شروع کرنے کا عزم کیا تاکہ اپنے خاندان کو سنبھال سکیں۔
حلیمہ بی بی کو خود کفیل بنانے کے لیے شعور ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن کی ٹیم نے مخیر حضرات کے تعاون سے انہیں مصالحہ پیسنے کی مشین، مختلف مصالحہ جات اور کاروبار کے لیے درکار ضروری سامان فراہم کیا۔ شعور کی ٹیم نے حلیمہ بی بی کے ہمراہ بازار جا کر تمام اشیاء خریدیں تاکہ ان کا چھوٹا کاروبار دوبارہ بحال ہو سکے اور مزید وسعت اختیار کرے۔
