Samreen is raising two children with intellectual disabilities while courageously battling a serious illness herself. As if these challenges were not enough, devastating floods destroyed her home, damaged all of her belongings, and left the house unsafe to live in.

During the post-flood recovery phase, Samreen connected with *Shauoor Welfare Foundation. After visiting her home, the Shauoor team not only helped restore it into a safe and livable space but also supported her through its **Small Business Program* by helping her set up a beauty salon in her own home.
Because Samreen could not leave her young children unattended to work outside, a home-based business was the best solution. With determination, hard work, and the right support, she rebuilt her life and achieved financial independence.
Today, Samreen’s story is a powerful reminder that timely support, opportunity, and unwavering courage can help people overcome even the most difficult circumstances.
ثمرین کا کامیاب بیوٹی پارلر
ثمرین کے دونوں بچے ذہنی معذوری کا شکار ہیں، جبکہ وہ خود بھی ایک سنگین بیماری سے نبرد آزما ہیں۔ ان مشکلات پر مزید آزمائش اس وقت آئی جب سیلاب نے ان کا گھر ڈبو دیا۔ گھر کا سامان تباہ ہو گیا اور رہائش کے لیے وہ گھر مکمل طور پر ناقابلِ استعمال ہو گیا۔
سیلاب کے بعد بحالی کے مرحلے میں ثمرین کا رابطہ *شعور ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن* سے ہوا۔ شعور کی ٹیم نے ان کے گھر کا دورہ کیا اور نہ صرف ان کے تباہ حال گھر کو دوبارہ رہنے کے قابل بنایا، بلکہ خود کفالت پروگرام کے تحت انہیں اپنے ہی گھر میں بیوٹی پارلر قائم کرنے کے لیے بھی ضروری معاونت فراہم کی۔
چونکہ اپنے کم سن ذہنی معذور بچوں کو چھوڑ کر گھر سے باہر جا کر روزگار حاصل کرنا ثمرین کے لیے ممکن نہیں تھا، اس لیے گھر پر ہی روزگار کا یہ ذریعہ ان کے لیے امید کی نئی کرن ثابت ہوا۔
ثمرین نے حالات کے سامنے ہار ماننے کے بجائے ہمت، محنت اور عزم کا راستہ اختیار کیا، اور آج وہ اپنے پاؤں پر کھڑی ہیں۔ ان کی یہ کامیابی اس بات کا ثبوت ہے کہ بروقت تعاون اور خود اعتمادی مل کر ناممکن دکھائی دینے والے خوابوں کو بھی حقیقت میں بدل سکتے ہیں۔
