According to doctors, Safia can only be treated through surgery, but the cost is far beyond what her family can afford. Her father has undergone eye surgery and has lost his vision, leaving the responsibility of the household on Safia and her mother. Living in a rented house, the family is struggling with severe financial difficulties. Safia has dreams like any other child—to get an education, celebrate Eid with joy, and live a better life—but her illness and circumstances have taken those dreams away from her.
