The devastating trauma deeply affected her mental health, and she has continued to struggle with mental health challenges ever since. For the past two years, Shauoor Welfare Foundation has been taking responsibility for Rafeeqa Bibi’s treatment and care. However, despite ongoing efforts, she has not shown significant improvement in her condition. Her daughters are also unable to take her into their homes and assume responsibility for her treatment and care. As a result, Rafeeqa Bibi remains a vulnerable woman in need of continued medical treatment, attention, compassionate care, and a safe place where she can live with dignity and security. Rafeeqa Bibi’s situation highlights an important social issue. There is a pressing need for safe residential facilities and specialised care centres for women experiencing mental health challenges who have no one to look after them. When families are unable to provide care and suitable institutions are unavailable, vulnerable individuals are left facing even greater hardships. Shauoor Welfare Foundation appeals for support to arrange Rafeeqa Bibi’s continued treatment, care, and safe accommodation. Your contribution can help sustain her treatment, meet her essential care needs, and provide her with a secure and supportive environment. At the same time, Shauoor Welfare Foundation urges the Government of Pakistan and relevant authorities to establish specialised centres for vulnerable women and men experiencing mental health challenges. These facilities should provide safe shelter, treatment under the supervision of qualified mental health professionals, ongoing care, and opportunities to live with dignity. Let us not overlook vulnerable women like Rafeeqa Bibi. Instead, let us become a source of support and hope for them. رفیقہ بی بی — ذہنی مسائل کا شکار ماں، علاج اور محفوظ پناہ گاہ کی منتظر ہے۔ رفیقہ بی بی ایک ایسی دکھی ماں ہیں جن کی زندگی اپنے بیٹے کی ناگہانی موت کے بعد یکسر بدل گئی۔ ان کے بیٹے کا ایک روڈ ایکسیڈنٹ میں انتقال ہو گیا، اور اس دل خراش واقعے کو انہوں نے اپنی آنکھوں سے دیکھا۔ اس شدید صدمے نے ان کی ذہنی صحت کو بری طرح متاثر کیا، جس کے بعد وہ مسلسل ذہنی صحت کے مسائل کا سامنا کر رہی ہیں۔ شعور ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن گزشتہ دو سال سے رفیقہ بی بی کے علاج اور دیکھ بھال کی ذمہ داری نبھا رہی ہے، لیکن اب تک ان کی طبیعت میں خاطر خواہ بہتری نہیں آ سکی۔ ان کی بیٹیاں بھی انہیں اپنے پاس رکھنے اور علاج کروانے کی ذمہ داری اٹھانے سے قاصر ہیں۔ یوں رفیقہ بی بی ایک ایسی بے سہارا خاتون بن چکی ہیں جنہیں مسلسل علاج، توجہ، دیکھ بھال اور ایک محفوظ جگہ کی ضرورت ہے، جہاں وہ عزت اور تحفظ کے ساتھ رہ سکیں۔
رفیقہ بی بی کی صورتحال ہمارے معاشرے کے ایک اہم مسئلے کی نشاندہی کرتی ہے۔ ذہنی صحت کے مسائل سے دوچار ایسی خواتین کے لیے محفوظ رہائش، مستقل علاج اور مناسب دیکھ بھال کے مراکز کی ضرورت ہے، جن کے پاس کوئی ذمہ داری اٹھانے والا نہ ہو۔ جب خاندان ان کی دیکھ بھال نہ کر سکے اور انہیں مناسب ادارہ بھی میسر نہ ہو، تو ان کی زندگی مزید مشکلات کا شکار ہو جاتی ہے۔ شعور ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن کی اپیل ہے کہ رفیقہ بی بی کے علاج، کفالت اور محفوظ رہائش کے انتظام میں تعاون کریں۔ آپ کا تعاون ان کے علاج کو جاری رکھنے، ضروری دیکھ بھال فراہم کرنے اور انہیں ایک محفوظ ماحول دینے میں مددگار ثابت ہو سکتا ہے۔ اس کے ساتھ حکومتِ پاکستان اور متعلقہ اداروں سے بھی گزارش ہے کہ ذہنی صحت کے مسائل سے دوچار بے سہارا خواتین اور مردوں کے لیے ایسے خصوصی مراکز قائم کیے جائیں جہاں انہیں محفوظ پناہ گاہ، ماہرینِ نفسیات کی نگرانی میں علاج، مسلسل نگہداشت اور باعزت زندگی گزارنے کے مواقع میسر آ سکیں۔ آئیے! رفیقہ بی بی جیسی بے سہارا خواتین کو نظرانداز کرنے کے بجائے ان کا سہارا بنیں۔ اپنی زکوٰۃ، صدقات اور عطیات کے ذریعے ان کے علاج اور کفالت میں حصہ ڈالیں، کیونکہ ہر انسان کو علاج، تحفظ اور عزت کے ساتھ جینے کا حق حاصل ہے۔
