every day as he faces the reality of poverty vs educational expenses. Yaseen Bhai spends the day walking on the streets with his gol gappay (snack) cart, trying to keep his household running and dreaming of giving his children a better future through education. His two young children, who once happily attended school, have been unable to go for the past year because the school cancelled their admission due to unpaid fees.

یٰسین بھائی روز گلی گلی گول گپے کا ٹھیلا لگاتے ہیں تاکہ ان کے گھر کا چولہا جلتا رہے اور ان کے بچے پڑھ لکھ کر ایک بہتر زندگی جی سکیں۔ مگر قسمت نے ان کے خوابوں کے درمیان غربت کی دیوار کھڑی کر دی ہے۔ دو چھوٹے بچے جو کبھی خوشی خوشی اسکول جایا کرتے تھے، اب گزشتہ ایک سال سے اسکول نہیں جا پا رہے کیونکہ فیس ادا نہ ہونے پر اسکول والوں نے داخلہ منسوخ کر دیا ہے۔ مہنگائی کے اس دور میں یٰسین بھائی کے لیے گھر کا خرچ چلانا ہی ایک جنگ بن چکا ہے، اور بچوں کی تعلیم کے اخراجات اٹھانا اب ممکن نہیں رہا۔ ایک معمولی سی رقم ان معصوموں کے مستقبل کو روشن کر سکتی ہے۔ یہ بچے پڑھنا چاہتے ہیں، آگے بڑھنا چاہتے ہیں، مگر باپ کی مجبوری ان کے تعلیمی سفر میں رکاوٹ بن گئی ہے۔
