Poverty and illness have made the life of Ghulam Sakina Baji extremely difficult. She is suffering from a deadly disease — cancer — and poverty has reached such an extent that even two meals a day are hard to afford. Her husband is a hernia patient and unable to work, while their only son works as a laborer on daily wages — sometimes he finds work, sometimes not.
