Kidney Patient – Failing Organs
Sabeeha is a nurse who had been serving sincerely at a hospital, but suddenly she was diagnosed with a serious illness that has started to affect her kidneys. Because of this condition, she is now unable to continue her job being a kidney patient with gradually failing organs. Her treatment is extremely expensive — just one week’s medicine costs more than 5,000 rupees. Four years ago, Sabeeha’s father had a road accident, which destroyed his small cart and left him bedridden. Since then, Sabeeha has been the sole breadwinner of her family.

It was her hard work that kept the household running, but now she herself battles illness, her own treatment, her father’s medical care, and daily household expenses have all become a heavy burden. صبیحہ ایک نرس ہیں جو ہسپتال میں اپنی خدمات ایمانداری سے سرانجام دے رہی تھیں، مگر اچانک انہیں ایک سنگین بیماری نے گھیر لیا جس نے ان کے گردوں کو متاثر کرنا شروع کر دیا ہے۔ بیماری کے باعث وہ اب اپنی نوکری جاری رکھنے کے قابل نہیں رہیں، اور ان کے اعضا آہستہ آہستہ ناکارہ ہوتے جا رہے ہیں۔ ان کے علاج پر بہت زیادہ خرچ آتا ہے — صرف ایک ہفتے کی دوا کی قیمت پانچ ہزار روپے سے زائد ہے۔ چار سال قبل صبیحہ کے والد کا سڑک حادثہ ہوا تھا، جس میں وہ اپنی ریڑھی سے محروم ہو گئے اور اب بسترِ علالت پر پڑے ہیں۔ صبیحہ ہی اپنے گھر کی واحد کفیل ہیں، اور ان کی محنت سے ہی گھر کا نظام چل رہا تھا۔ مگر اب جب وہ خود بیماری سے لڑ رہی ہیں، تو گھر کے اخراجات، والد کے علاج اور اپنے علاج— سب کچھ ایک بڑا امتحان بن گیا ہے۔ صبیحہ کی زندگی اس وقت مشکلات کے گھیرے میں ہے۔ چاروں طرف اندھیرا چھایا ہوا ہے، لیکن وہ اب بھی حوصلے اور امید سے جینا چاہتی ہیں۔ آئیے، ہم سب مل کر اس بہادر بیٹی کا سہارا بنیں۔
