With their own families, children, and increasing expenses, the brothers are now unable to fully support them. Unfortunately, after one brother’s death, the two sisters were left at the mercy of their sisters-in-law, where they are not treated well. They are made to do hard labor and are sometimes subjected to abuse. They share that they are beaten over minor issues and are constantly made to feel like a burden on the household. These conditions have further worsened the family situation. In deep distress, one of their sister Rehana approached the Shauoor Welfare Foundation office and shared her helplessness. She explained that she lives in a very small house with her five children, and her husband and children are not willing to accommodate her mentally disabled sisters. Financial hardship has forced her to seek help and support for them from any possible source. This situation is extremely heartbreaking, and everyone hopes for a solution that allows these sisters to live with dignity and peace.
