The family’s circumstances have become so difficult that they have even run out of food. On one side are Zainab’s medical and treatment expenses; on the other is her father’s urgent need for treatment, along with the responsibility of a daughter’s marriage this month. All these challenges have pushed the family into severe financial hardship.

معصوم زینب علاج کی منتظر
معصوم زینب ظفر پیدائشی بیماریوں کے ساتھ دل کے ایک سنگین مرض میں مبتلا ہے۔ اس کے دل کے تین والو متاثر ہیں اور ڈاکٹرز نے اس کے علاج کے لیے سرجری کا مشورہ دیا ہے۔ شدید کمزوری کے باعث زینب کے لیے چلنا پھرنا بھی دشوار ہے۔ چند قدم چلنے پر ہی اس کی سانس پھولنے لگتی ہے اور وہ شدید تکلیف محسوس کرتی ہے۔
جس عمر میں اس بچی کے کھیلنے، اسکول جانے اور خوشیاں منانے کے دن تھے، آج بیماری نے اسے بستر تک محدود کر دیا ہے۔ اپنے گھر کے حالات، والدین کی بیماری اور غربت کو دیکھ کر زینب اکثر روتی رہتی ہے۔
زینب کی والدہ بھی مختلف بیماریوں میں مبتلا ہیں۔ انہیں دمہ اور جگر و گردوں کے مسائل درپیش ہیں، جس کے باعث وہ اپنی اولاد کی مناسب دیکھ بھال کرنے سے بھی قاصر ہیں۔ حالات کی سنگینی یہاں تک پہنچ چکی ہے کہ وہ اپنی صرف 16 سالہ بیٹی کی شادی کرنے پر مجبور ہیں۔
دوسری جانب زینب کے والد شوگر کے مریض ہیں۔ شوگر کے باعث ان کے پاؤں پر شدید زخم بن چکے ہیں جو بڑھتے جا رہے ہیں، لیکن علاج کے لیے وسائل موجود نہیں۔ اس کے باوجود وہ اپنے خاندان کا پیٹ پالنے کے لیے بیماری اور تکلیف کے ساتھ کام کرنے پر مجبور ہیں۔
گھر کے حالات اس قدر دشوار ہیں کہ راشن تک ختم ہو چکا ہے۔ ایک طرف زینب کے علاج کے اخراجات، دوسری طرف والد کے علاج کی ضرورت اور اسی ماہ بیٹی کی شادی کی ذمہ داری—ان تمام مشکلات نے اس خاندان کو شدید مالی بحران میں مبتلا کر دیا ہے۔
