For the past two days, Shauoor Welfare Foundation has been continuously delivering cooked meals and relief supplies to affected families, ensuring they are not left alone during this difficult time. The team also assessed the ground situation, where thousands of homes remain submerged. Many families are still trapped inside their homes, with no means of relocating their livestock. Fear of theft has also prevented many residents from leaving their homes despite the dangerous conditions. The flood has created an urgent shortage of clean drinking water, dry food, medicines, milk for children, and other basic necessities. Poor sanitation and inadequate drainage have increased the risk of fever, allergies, and other waterborne diseases.
