For the past two to three days, our team and volunteers have been working day and night to reach affected families and provide them with essential relief supplies. Although the water level has decreased somewhat, the situation in the area remains extremely difficult. The sewerage system is not functioning, clean and drinking water is unavailable, and the dirty, stagnant, and foul-smelling water in homes and streets has made life even more challenging for the affected families. Due to the changing water conditions, vehicles and boats are unable to reach several areas, making access to the affected families a major challenge. In these difficult circumstances, a trailer was arranged with the support of Civil Defence and the Charity Commission, allowing essential relief supplies to be transported to the affected families. Despite the contaminated water, strong odors, and difficult routes, our volunteers continue to serve the affected communities with dedication and courage. Their commitment and determination are truly commendable. The flood victims of Rizwan Park are still in urgent need of assistance.
