Flood 2025 – Theme Park Lahore
The current critical situation in Lahore Theme Park Society after the devastating floods is extremely distressing. There is water everywhere — the floodwater of River Ravi has not receded yet, and residents of the area are facing severe hardships. Ehtesham is deeply saddened by the death of his friend, who drowned while trying to retrieve essential belongings from his flooded home. This tragic incident highlights the gravity of the disaster.

Theme Park Society, with a population of nearly 30,000 people, has suffered massive destruction — entire homes have been washed away.
Around 5,000 to 7,000 residents have managed to return to their homes, but the majority remain helpless and displaced. People have moved their belongings to rooftops in an effort to protect what little they have left. Due to the delayed drainage of floodwater, malaria, skin infections, allergies, and other diseases are rapidly spreading throughout the area.
Let us come together for the sake of humanity and join hands with the Shauoor Welfare Foundation to support these affected families — to ease their suffering and restore hope and light to their lives once again.
لاہور تھیم پارک میں سیلاب
لاہور کے تھیم پارک سوسائٹی میں سیلاب کی تباہ کاریوں کی موجودہ صورتحال بہت پریشان کن ہے۔ ہر طرف پانی ہی پانی ہے، دریائے راوی کا پانی ابھی تک کھڑا ہے اور علاقے کے لوگ شدید مشکلات کا شکار ہیں۔ احتشام اپنے ہم عمر دوست کی موت پر گہرے غم میں مبتلا ہے، جو اپنے ڈوبے ہوئے گھر سے ضروری سامان لینے گیا مگر واپس نہ آسکا اور پانی میں ڈوب کر جاں بحق ہوگیا۔ یہ المناک واقعہ اس تباہی کی سنگینی کو ظاہر کرتا ہے۔ تھیم پارک سوسائٹی تقریباً 30 ہزار آبادی پر مشتمل اس علاقے میں گھروں کے گھر تباہ ہو چکے ہیں۔ اندازاً پانچ سے سات ہزار لوگ اپنے گھروں کو واپس جا چکے ہیں لیکن بیشتر اب بھی بے یار و مددگار ہیں۔ لوگوں نے اپنے سامان کو محفوظ رکھنے کے لیے گھروں کی چھتوں پر رکھا ہوا ہے۔ پانی کی بروقت نکاسی نہ ہونے کے باعث ملیریا، خارش، الرجی اور دیگر وبائیں تیزی سے پھیل رہی ہیں۔
آئیے، انسانیت کے ناطے شعور ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن کے ساتھ مل کر ان متاثرہ خاندانوں کی مدد کریں تاکہ ان کے دکھوں میں کمی اور زندگیوں میں دوبارہ امید کی روشنی پیدا کی جا سکے۔
