With her exceptional beauty, charming personality, and outstanding acting skills, she earned a prominent place in the Pakistani film industry. She was celebrated with titles such as the “Queen of Beauty” and the “Marble Statue.” Through her remarkable performances in memorable films such as Insaaf, Jameela, Kaneez, and Insaan, she established her own identity during the golden era of Pakistani cinema. Once a celebrated and popular star, Sabira Sultana is now facing a difficult phase of life, marked by old age, illness, loneliness, and financial hardship.
Time has changed everything. Today, Sabira Sultana is living in a rented home with limited resources. Her illness and physical weakness make everyday life challenging, while meeting even her basic needs has become a struggle. The lack of family attention and consistent support has deepened her loneliness.
When the team of Shauoor Welfare Foundation visited her home, they found her alone and injured. Without delay, the team stepped forward to help and arranged her medical treatment at Lahore General Hospital. This act reminds us that humanity is still alive and that standing beside someone in their time of need is one of the greatest acts of kindness.
Sabira Sultana is currently receiving support through Shauoor Welfare Foundation’s Kafalat Program, which strives to help meet her essential needs and provide assistance with her medical care. However, many other elderly and vulnerable women like her are still waiting for our attention, compassion, and support.
Let us become part of Shauoor Welfare Foundation’s Kafalat Program. Through your donations, Zakat, and Sadaqah, you can contribute towards Sabira Sultana’s care and medical treatment while also helping other deserving mothers. Even a small contribution can provide food, medical care, protection, and the support needed to live with dignity.
Let us join hands in this journey of kindness and ensure that no mother feels lonely, helpless, or forgotten in her old age.
