Poverty has taken away much of these innocent children’s childhood. Their financial hardships have also affected their education. Sobia Baji’s eldest son is only 12 years old. At an age when he should be carrying books and going to school, he has been forced to work because of his family’s difficult circumstances. At such a young age, he is already carrying the burden of family responsibilities. Despite these hardships, Sobia Baji’s daughters have dreams to complete education. They love learning, want to attend school, and dream of building a better future. When the team of Shauoor Welfare Foundation visited Sobia Baji’s home, they discovered the children’s strong desire to receive education. Shauoor Welfare Foundation enrolled the girls in school so that poverty would not stand in the way of their dreams. Today, these girls are going to school, learning, and taking steps toward a brighter future. But their journey is still far from over. Shauoor Welfare Foundation is working to support this family through Kafalat, ration assistance, education, and skills development, so that this widowed mother can provide her orphaned children with a better life and, ultimately, help the family become self-reliant.
