Gulshan Bibi is a helpless mother who is struggling to survive in extremely difficult circumstances with her sick husband and five daughters. Her husband used to support the family by working as a driver, but due to illness and disability, he is no longer able to work.

As a result, the entire responsibility of the household has fallen on Gulshan Bibi’s shoulders.
Last year’s devastating floods made their situation even more difficult. Their essential household belongings, along with the dowry items she had collected for her daughter’s marriage, were swept away by the floodwaters. Gulshan Bibi had saved little by little through hard work to prepare for her daughter’s future, but in a moment, years of her efforts and savings were lost.
Today, Gulshan Bibi faces another major challenge—her daughter’s wedding is approaching, but the family does not have the resources to arrange the necessary dowry and wedding expenses again. Sometimes the family has enough food for only one meal a day, and at times, even that is not available. Her five young daughters are witnessing their mother’s helplessness.
Gulshan Bibi only hopes that someone will come forward to support her so that she can arrange her daughter’s wedding with dignity and respect.

گلشن بی بی ایک مجبور ماں ہیں جو اپنے بیمار شوہر اور پانچ بیٹیوں کے ساتھ انتہائی مشکل حالات میں زندگی گزار رہی ہیں۔ ان کے شوہر پہلے ڈرائیونگ کرکے گھر کا خرچ چلاتے تھے، مگر بیماری اور معذوری کے باعث اب کام کرنے کے قابل نہیں رہے، جس کے بعد گھر کی تمام ذمہ داری گلشن بی بی کے کندھوں پر آ گئی ہے۔
گزشتہ سال کے تباہ کن سیلاب نے ان کی مشکلات مزید بڑھا دیں۔ گھر کا ضروری سامان اور بیٹی کی شادی کے لیے جمع کیا گیا جہیز بھی سیلابی پانی میں بہہ گیا۔ گلشن بی بی نے بڑی محنت اور تھوڑی تھوڑی بچت سے اپنی بیٹی کے مستقبل کے لیے سامان جمع کیا تھا، مگر ایک ہی لمحے میں ان کی برسوں کی جمع پونجی ختم ہوگئی۔
آج گلشن بی بی کے سامنے ایک اور بڑا چیلنج ہے—ان کی بیٹی کی شادی قریب ہے، مگر گھر کے حالات ایسے نہیں کہ وہ دوبارہ جہیز اور شادی کی ضروریات کا انتظام کر سکیں۔ کبھی گھر میں ایک وقت کا کھانا میسر ہوتا ہے اور کبھی وہ بھی نہیں۔ پانچ معصوم بیٹیاں اپنی ماں کی بے بسی دیکھ رہی ہیں۔
گلشن بی بی صرف اتنی امید رکھتی ہیں کہ کوئی ان کا ہاتھ تھام لے، تاکہ وہ اپنی بیٹی کی شادی عزت اور وقار کے ساتھ کر سکیں۔
