عابدہ باجی کے شوہر، جو پہلے نیوز ون چینل میں ریسرچ کے شعبے سے وابستہ تھے، ایک افسوسناک حادثے کے باعث شدید مشکلات کا شکار ہو گئے۔ حادثے کے بعد انہیں ملازمت چھوڑنا پڑی اور اب وہ کافی عرصے سے بسترِ علالت پر ہیں۔ گھر کا کرایہ، بجلی کے بل، بچوں کی اسکول فیس اور دیگر گھریلو اخراجات عابدہ باجی کی محدود آمدنی سے بمشکل پورے ہو رہے ہیں۔ اس کے ساتھ ساتھ گھر کے راشن، شوہر کی ادویات اور جاری فزیو تھراپی کے اخراجات نے مالی دباؤ کو مزید بڑھا دیا ہے۔
