Their parents abandoned them — left them in misery, sickness, and hunger.   When they came to Shauoor Welfare Foundation, the youngest child  Ali Sher, only 1.5 years old, hadn’t eaten for an entire day. Ali Sher, that little child who couldn’t even speak properly yet, kept asking: “Is there something to eat?” He stutters when he speaks and suffers from multiple medical conditions.   The eldest brother works all day for just 500 rupees. The eldest sister, only 15, tries to care for her younger siblings like a mother. But how long can children protect children?   If we don’t step in, death will be their destiny. ناقابلِ فراموش کیس

  یہ ایک ایسا کیس تھا جس نے شعور ویلفیئر کے پورے دفتر میں افسردگی طاری کر دی۔ سات بہن بھائی جن میں سب سے بڑے بھائی کی عمر صرف 16 سال ہے اور بہن 15 سال کی۔ ان میں سے تین بہنیں اور ایک چھوٹا بھائی اعصابی مریض ہیں — ایک بچہ ذیابیطس کا شکار بھی ہے۔   ماں باپ نے انہیں چھوڑ دیا… نہ محبت، نہ سایہ، نہ کوئی سہارا۔   جب یہ بچے شعور کے پاس آئے، تو ڈیڑھ سال کا بچہ علی شیر بھی ایک دن سے بھوکا تھا۔ وہ چھوٹا بچہ جو ابھی صحیح سے بول بھی نہیں سکتا تھا، بار بار پوچھ رہا تھا: “کچھ کھانے کو ہے؟ “کچھ کھانے کو ہے؟”   نہ صاف کپڑے، نہ دوا، نہ کوئی پرسان حال۔   بڑا بھائی دن بھر کام کر کے 500 روپے کماتا ہے، بڑی بہن بچوں کو سنبھالتی ہے — لیکن معصوم کندھوں پر یہ بوجھ کب تک؟   خدارا، اس سے پہلے کہ یہ بچے معاشرے سے بدلہ لیں… ہم انہیں تھام لیں۔ یہ بچے صرف آپ کی مدد سے زندہ رہ سکتے ہیں۔ زکوٰۃ، صدقہ یا عطیہ دے کر ان معصوم بچوں کی کفالت کیجیے۔ یہ وہ بچے ہیں جنہیں والدین تک نے ٹھکرا دیا — کیا ہم بھی منہ موڑ لیں گے؟
