Sarwari Bibi is a dignified and noble woman. Even in her widowhood, she did not lose hope. She started a small lace business from home. But in the poor neighborhoods where hunger prevails, people only sew clothes for special occasions like Eid. Her income barely exceeds four or five thousand rupees. She had to pull her youngest son out of school to teach him a trade. Her daughter is losing her eyesight, but they cannot afford treatment.
