Ruby had already been silently suffering after a painful, failed marriage. And before she could recover, her elder sister passed away. Two heartbreaking losses shattered her soul. Ruby went quiet. Then, she stopped eating. Her condition worsened to the point where she lost awareness — unaware of her surroundings, unable to even go to the washroom. She would lie in filth for hours… and her mother, unaware of her mental descent, could only pray in silence. Shauoor tirelessly searched for help — and finally, SHED Foundation opened its doors. With compassion, Ruby has now been admitted to the facility.
