Silence Helps the Oppressor

Silence Helps the Oppressor, So Raise Your Voice!

“Even silence becomes a form of oppression.” These powerful words echoed through the hall as Sir Fakharullah Tahir, former registrar NCA,  shared a deeply motivating message during the event held in memory of Iqbal Masih at Adabi Baithak, Alhamra Hall.

He reminded us that when we raise our voice against injustice, divine support follows. A young boy like Iqbal sparked a revolution, and today, millions of voiceless children still wait for someone to stand with them. Shauoor Welfare Foundation’s Child Labor Rehabilitation Program came into existence from this vision — to offer not just financial help, but courage, skills, and hope to those little eyes searching for kindness.
