During an insightful discussion, Dr Shahida Noumani shared that: “As social workers, our focus remains on the four Rs: Rescue, Relief, Recovery, and Rehabilitation. While working in flood-affected regions, we found communities where women didn’t even know how to say their names and children lived in unthinkable conditions.” Through this flood relief experience, two critical needs became clear:
  1. Skill Development — to empower individuals and reduce long-term dependency
  2. Non-formal Education Initiatives — especially for women and children, to break the cycle of poverty and ignorance.
These experiences not only strengthen the mission of Team Shauoor but also bring us closer to creating an informed, dignified, and self-reliant society. Let us come together to build a system where awareness prevails, knowledge flourishes, and every individual stands on their own feet. Together, let’s create a resilient, educated, and poverty-free society.

ایکسپو میں شعور ٹیم کی نمائندگی

ٹیم شُعور نے PEDRR 2025  ایکسپو میں بھرپور شرکت کی — جو کہ قدرتی آفات کے خطرات میں کمی، پائیدار ترقی، اور ماحولیاتی شعور کے لیے ایک اہم عالمی پلیٹ فارم ہے۔ ٹیم نے مؤثر خیالات، پائیدار اختراعات کا جائزہ لیا اور ان افراد سے ملاقات کی جو ماحولیاتی تبدیلیوں اور ہنگامی حالات سے نمٹنے کے لیے سرگرم ہیں۔ “بطور سماجی کارکن، ہمارا مرکز چار R پر ہے: ریسکیو (بچاؤ)، ریلیف (امداد)، ریکوری (بحالی) اور ری ہیبلیٹیشن (بحالی)۔ جب ہم سیلاب سے متاثرہ علاقوں میں کام کر رہے تھے، تو ہمیں ایسی کمیونٹیز میں جانے کا اتفاق ہوا جہاں خواتین کو اپنا نام لینا بھی نہیں آتا تھا اور بچے ناقابلِ یقین حالات میں رہتے تھے۔” مزید انہوں نے کہا: اس سیلابی ریلیف تجربے سے دو اہم ضروریات واضح ہوئیں:

  1. ہنر کی ترقی — تاکہ افراد بااختیار ہوں اور طویل مدتی انحصار میں کمی آئے۔

  1. نان فارمل سکول کا آغاز — خصوصاً خواتین اور بچوں کے لیے، تاکہ جہالت اور غربت کے دائرے کو توڑا جا سکے۔

یہ تجربات نہ صرف ٹیم شعور کے مشن کو مزید پختہ کرتے ہیں بلکہ ہمیں ایک باخبر، باوقار اور خود انحصار معاشرے کی تشکیل کے قریب لے جاتے ہیں۔ آئیے مل کر ایک ایسا نظام تشکیل دیں، جہاں شعور ہو، علم ہو، اور ہر فرد اپنے پیروں پر کھڑا ہو۔
