These children constitute street children as well as other children who are working to earn a living for their families.

Observing their lives, innocent desires of childhood are suppressed under circumstances and responsibilities. Shauoor’s Child Labour Rehabilitation Program enthusiastically struggles for their rehabilitation and basic rights.
Children in all provinces of Pakistan are being exploited socially, morally, mentally, and physically due to child labour, which is toxic and harmful to the progress of both youth and the nation. Children who are engaged in work are unable to attend school regularly and are more likely to give up on education. Lack of education then leads to a lack of skilled workers, which limits economic growth and development. The major causes of child labor are poverty, illiteracy and the high cost of education.

چائلڈ لیبر اس معاشرے کا ایک افسوسناک المیہ ہے۔ غربت کی لکیر سے نیچے زندگی گزارنے والے خاندانوں کی وجہ سے چائلڈ لیبر کی ایک بڑی تعداد ان مفلس خاندانوں میں جنم لے رہی ہے۔ گلیوں میں گھومنے والے بچوں کے ساتھ ساتھ وہ بچے بھی شامل ہیں جو اپنے خاندان کا پیٹ پالنے کے لیے کام کر رہے ہیں۔ ان کی زندگیوں کا مشاہدہ کیا جائے تو معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ بچپن کی معصوم خواہشیں، حالات اور ذمہ داریوں کے بوجھ تلے دب چکی ہوتی ہیں۔
شعور کا مزدور بچوں کی بحالی پروگرام ان بچوں کی بحالی اور ان کے بنیادی حقوق کے لیے ایک عملی قدم ہے۔
پاکستان کے تمام صوبوں میں بچے سماجی، اخلاقی، ذہنی اور جسمانی طور پر استحصال کا شکار ہو رہے ہیں۔ چائلڈ لیبر نوجوانوں اور قوم دونوں کی ترقی کے لیے زہر قاتل ہے۔ جو بچے کام میں مشغول ہوتے ہیں، وہ اسکول باقاعدگی سے نہیں جا پاتے اور اکثر تعلیم ادھوری چھوڑ دیتے ہیں۔ تعلیم کی کمی سے ہنر مند افراد کی کمی پیدا ہوتی ہے، جو ملک کی معاشی ترقی کو محدود کرتی ہے۔ چائلڈ لیبر کی بڑی وجوہات غربت، ناخواندگی، اور تعلیم کا مہنگا ہونا ہیں۔
