The Edhi Center is now sheltering Younas Baba, who was rescued under our Rescue Missing Person and Rehabilitation program. Two days ago, we got a call from Dr Fareena.

Save a Mother’s Life
Rubina Baji belongs to a dignified, self-respecting family. Her husband has been working day and night as a watchman, carrying the responsibility of the entire household on his shoulders. However, suddenly Rubina Baji fell seriously ill. Her condition has now worsened to the point that she is unable to walk and is confined to a bed.

Severe weakness and pain have left her helpless, while her young children long for their mother’s care and affection. For a daily wage earner, it is an incredibly difficult choice—whether to provide two meals a day for the family or to bear the rising medical expenses for his wife’s treatment. Limited income and increasing healthcare costs have pushed this family into a severe trial. The little children are still waiting for their mother’s loving presence.

روبینہ باجی کا تعلق ایک نہایت سفید پوش اور باعزت گھرانے سے ہے۔ اُن کے شوہر چوکیداری کا کام کر کے دن رات محنت کے ذریعے گھر کی تمام ذمہ داریاں نبھاتے رہے، مگر اچانک روبینہ باجی شدید بیماری کا شکار ہو گئیں۔ اس وقت اُن کی حالت یہ ہے کہ وہ چلنے پھرنے سے بھی قاصر ہیں اور چارپائی تک محدود ہو چکی ہیں۔ شدید کمزوری اور تکلیف نے انہیں بے بس کر دیا ہے، جبکہ ننھے منے بچے ماں کی تیمارداری اور توجہ کے محتاج ہیں۔
