The Shauoor Welfare Foundation team visited the suburban areas: Kharkan, Dadu Aana & Chund Bharwana in Jhang, where the recent flood has caused massive destruction, washing away everything in its path.
The people of Kharkan are struggling against hunger, disease, and poverty. Many families have lost their homes and are now forced to live under the open sky. Because this is a remote area, it had remained deprived of relief aid. When the Shauoor team conducted a survey, it was discovered that diseases like malaria and allergies are spreading rapidly, there is an urgent need for medicines, and people are deprived of basic necessities. Seeing this dire situation, the Shauoor Welfare Foundation arranged a fresh cooked meal (langar) and distributed clothes, shoes, mosquito nets, and other essential items among the affected families. During the survey, a grieving woman tearfully shared that everything she owned had been washed away by the flood — her bedding, furniture, and household belongings were all destroyed. She has special children who are now living without any shelter. Many other families are suffering the same fate — their mud houses have collapsed, and even their children’s school bags have been swept away by the floodwaters. May Allah Almighty ease their suffering. The mission of Shauoor Welfare Foundation is to help these affected families rebuild their lives and bring back a ray of hope. For this noble cause, immediate funds and donations are urgently needed. Let us all join hands to support the rehabilitation of these flood-affected families.

4Rs (ریسکیو، ریلیف، ریکوری اور ری ہیبلیٹیشن) کے اصولوں کی رہنمائی میں، شعور سیلاب سے متاثرہ کمیونیٹیز کے لیے شواہد پر مبنی حل فراہم کرنے پر یقین رکھتی ہے تاکہ پائیدار ترقی کو یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔
شعور ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن کی ٹیم نے جھنگ کے مضافاتی علاقے کھڑکن، دادو آ نہ، چنڈ بھروانہ کا دورہ کیا، جہاں حالیہ سیلاب کی تباہی نے ہر چیز کو تباہ و برباد کر دیا ہے۔ یہاں کے لوگ بھوک، ملیریا، الرجی جیسی بیماری اور غربت سے لڑ رہے ہیں۔ کئی خاندان بے گھر ہو چکے ہیں اور کھلے آسمان تلے زندگی گزارنے پر مجبور ہیں۔ یہ علاقہ مضافاتی ہونے کے باعث امداد سے محروم تھا۔ شعور کی ٹیم نے جب اس علاقے کا سروے کیا تو معلوم ہوا کہ یہاں بیماریاں تیزی سے پھیل رہی ہیں، دواؤں کی سخت ضرورت ہے، اور لوگ بنیادی سہولیات سے محروم ہیں۔ اس صورتحال کو دیکھتے ہوئے شعور ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن نے نہ صرف لنگر کا اہتمام کیا بلکہ کپڑے، جوتے، مچھر دانیاں اور ضروری سامان بھی تقسیم کیا۔ سروے کے دوران ایک متاثرہ خاتون نے روتے ہوئے بتایا کہ ان کے گھر کا سب کچھ بہہ گیا، بستر اور سامان سب ختم ہو گیا ہے۔ ان کے ذہنی معذور بچے ہیں جو کھلے آسمان تلے زندگی گزارنے پر مجبور ہیں۔ علاقے کے کئی گھروں کی یہی حالت ہیں مٹی کے مکانات گر چکے ہیں، بچوں کے بستے تک پانی میں بہہ گئے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ ان پر آسانیاں نازل فرمائے۔ شعور ویلفیئر فاؤنڈیشن کا مقصد یہی ہے کہ وہ ان متاثرہ خاندانوں کی بحالی میں اپنا کردار ادا کرے اور ان کی زندگیوں میں امید کی کرن واپس لائے۔ جس کے لئے فنڈز اور عطیات کی فوری ضرورت ہے۔ ان سیلاب متاثرین کی بحالی میں ہمارا ساتھ دیں۔
