Placing a hand of compassion on the head of an orphan is considered the most virtuous act in the eyes of Allah. Rukhsana is one such orphaned girl who, after the death of her father, works with her mother collecting scrap. Her elderly mother is often ill and wishes to see her daughter married with dignity during her lifetime. Let’s join hands in giving this girl a respectable send-off.

Islam teaches us to be compassionate, just, and generous — not just with Muslims, but with all of humanity. Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was sent as a Mercy to the Worlds, and his example reminds us to care for others regardless of their faith.
